Our Cause

The Gorpulay Foundation was established to help children in the Liberian school systems who cannot afford to pay school fees, buy school supplies, or purchase bookbags due to poverty or misfortune. Our mission is to secure a brighter future for these children by keeping them in school with your support. Due to extreme poverty, many talented children become dropouts and lose the opportunity for a brighter future, and we seek to end this daunting cycle of regression. We appreciate your generouse suppport and your standing with us in this noble cause.

Quite recently, we visited many schools in the poorest parts of Liberia to assess the needs of the underpreviliged children and ways that we could help them, and the three main issues that came up were the needs for school fees, school supplies, and bookbags. Many school children between ages 5 and 16 become dropouts because they are either orphaned with no support, or their parents are too poor to meet their educational needs. And most of these children are talented and need just a little push to complete their education and make an impacts on our world.
